Luce d'Italia
──── ❦ ────
Visual echoes of Italy—real, imagined, remembered.
This is a space for stories that linger: sunlit courtyards, whispered prayers in stone chapels, and the scent of lemons carried on coastal wind. Some tales are true. Others are dreamt. All are rooted in longing.
Whether you’ve walked these paths or only wished to, you’re welcome here.
It began with a film and a flight of stone steps. The Godfather made me want to see Sicily, and the grand steps of the opera house in Palermo.
What stayed with me was a feeling I have been trying to name ever since: freedom. Perhaps because it was another country. Perhaps because the people I knew there were not driven by work; they knew how to live in balance. So many my age had businesses of their own, and I came to see how deeply family holds a life together, generation after generation.
Luce d'Italia is how I carry that light home.

If a story reminded you of a place, a person, or a summer, tell me. I read every one.
